more3DSTEREO GL is the most easy and flexible way for engineering and research departments to work or present directly in 3D stereo without ever worrying about workflow. Completely without file export many OpenGL based applications are enabled to run directly in 3D stereo because the patented moreSTEREO GL uses the OpenGL graphics data stream to create the required two perspectives. The advantage for data visualization and complex systems is obvious.

Today many major OpenGL applications are natively supported. Due to the complexitiy of OpenGL some applications may need specific support. Please inquire if you need support for an application that has so far not been tested. However many yet untested applications may work directly - a demo version of our software may be downloaded for testing from the download page.

Even if your application has a built-in 3D stereo mode you may consider using more3DSTEREO for better interface consistency and usability.

The size of your 3D stereo image has virtually no restrictions and only depends on your graphics board and available graphics memory.

On the left you notice CATIA V5 in a resolution of 1600x1200 pixel running in passive 3D stereo. When using a high end 3D projection system like the morpheus³ you may work on a truly immersive engineering system.

The anaglyph preview mode allows users to take a look at the 3D stereo effect on standard displays (CRT, LCD, single projector) using a red/cyan pair of 3D glasses. This color distorting way of seeing 3D stereo is not meant to be used long term. However it allows to quickly check how a model looks with a push of a button.

more3DSTEREO GL allows permanent access to a test screen and the 3D settings control panel within your CAD application. You may use them at any time to adjust or check the projector settings (of a passive 3D projection system) or to adjust the "outscreen effect" visually - without ever leaving your CAD application.

The control panel and the testscreen can be displayed or removed with a push of a button. It is shown in each screenshot to proove that the more3DSTEREO GL software is running actively in the background. When changing the settings they may be saved and will be recalled when the application is started the next time.
